Accelerating inflation, foreign outflows, hawkish monetary, weakening macro have dominated equity market narratives recently, in-line with our expectation from early March (read here: Mind The Gap 6,900) when IHSG was at 7,300.


Although the index is short from our 6,900-7,000 target, it was held up by Barito group while everything else corrected lower (IHSG ex Barito around 6,700). We remain tactical and opportunistic on IHSG, especially leaning on contrarian views.
