The numbers: These 8 diseases costs IDR 34.7 trillion in 2023, representing +44.4% increase compared to IDR 24 trillion in 2022. This jump coincided with the rise in the number of cases, which reached 29.7 million in 2023, up from 23.2 million cases in 2022.
