Indonesia Secures $2.3bn Investment for Data Center Hub

Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital has announced that EDGNEX, a digital infrastructure enterprise headquartered in Dubai, will invest $2.3 billion (approximately IDR 37 trillion) to establish a major data center facility in Indonesia.
Context: The funding will be used to develop a state-of-the-art data center infrastructure zone with capacity of 144 MW across a 12-hectare location in the Cikarang industrial region, West Java. The initial phase of the project is scheduled for completion in 2026, with further development extending through 2028.
