Indonesia Proposes $10bn Oil & Gas Import from U.S.

In light of trade negotiation between Indonesia and United States, the Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources (ESDM) has proposed to increase oil & gas imports from US to satisfy the requirement of reducing our trade surplus.
Context: The proposal is part of a broader effort to hopefully prevent US applying 32% reciprocal tariff on Indonesia that is slated to be implemented in the next 80 or so days.
